I made this page with the intent of aiding myself in saving my $$ and making more mindful purchases💌 The idea is that if I have something I’ve been thinking of purchasing for a while, I can put it on this wishlist. Next, while I’m out and about (like when I go to the grocery store and accidentally end up at the thrift store), and I see something I want to buy- I take out this list. I look at the list, and if the item I’m eyeing is on this list- I’m allowed to buy it. If it isn’t, I need to put it down and then mindfully decide later if its something I want to add to my wishlist. Most of the time using this method, I realize that when I leave the store, I actually don’t even want to put it on the wishlist at all. This proves to me that the list has been incredibly helpful in guiding myself to more mindful purchases and slowing down to really think about how I’m spending my money.
